Trains and instructs on how to properly use and maintain compression garments. Dispenses off-the-shelf and custom-made compression garments. Includes patient assessment, formulation, follow up and implementation of a treatment plan using compression garment products. Interacts with members and maintains a friendly, open and service-oriented attitude. Performs functions consistent with supporting the entire spa facilities' team. Promotes the Spa and marketing strategies as assigned. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value youll bring to the team:** + Assesses specific prescription or patients needs for compression garments as it relates to or includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation of the following: Physical assessment, Circulation, Skin integrity. + Formulates and implements a treatment plan based upon an assessment to alleviate limitations and enhance function. The treatment includes but is not limited to: Verification of prescription/documentation, Analysis of design requirements, Consultation with and/or referral to other healthcare professionals, Acquisition of physical assessment data, Material selection, Adjustments to accommodate individual anatomic contours, Patient education and instruction. + Utilizes a follow-up treatment plan that ensures successful compression garment outcomes, patient health and quality of life which includes but is not limited to: Documentation of any changes in patients condition, Formulation of modification to ensure successful outcomes, Confirmation of patient education and instruction, Measures for custom-made compression garments, Pins altering folds or marks on cloth with chalk at seams to indicate alterations to be made by the manufacturer if needed, Dispenses compression garment orders requested by the lymphedema team or the ortho/acute care unit of facility, Promotes spa services at events both on and off site as needed, Provides the highest level of customer service and professionalism in all contacts.
