First Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may vary slightly, e.g., 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)Second Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PMEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician with expertise in hazardous compounding, particularly in compliance with USP standards. This role focuses on compounding testosterone formulations using a seed oil base, while maintaining strict adherence to USP and protocols. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment and contribute to quality assurance efforts.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform hazardous drug compounding in accordance with USP Compound testosterone formulations using seed oil basesMaintain a sterile and organized compounding area, including routine cleaning and disinfection of equipment and workspacesAccurately document compounding activities, including batch records, cleaning logs, and quality control checksParticipate in quality assurance and quality control programsAssist with inventory management: receiving, labeling, and storing materials and suppliesRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of USP and complianceExperience in sterile and nonsterile compoundingPTCB certificationActive registration in the state of TennesseePreferred Qualifications5+ years of compounding experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years will be consideredHospital pharmacy experience is a plusInterest or experience in leadership rolesExperience compounding multiple drug formulationsWork EnvironmentFast-paced, high-volume compounding facilityCollaborative and growth-focused environmentLet me know if you'd like to include compensation details, benefits, or a company mission to make the posting even more compelling.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
