Compounding Pharmacy Technician Knoxville, TN| Full-Time | Monday–Friday Overview: Join a growing, innovative pharmacy team dedicated to excellence in compounding. We’re seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician with expertise in both hazardous sterile and non-hazardous compounding, particularly in testosterone formulations using seed oil bases. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounds, including testosterone formulations. + Maintain a clean, compliant compounding environment in accordance with USP <797> and <800>standards. + Document all compounding activities accurately, including batch records, cleaning logs, and quality control checks. + Participate in quality assurance and control programs to ensure product integrity. + Assist with inventory management: receiving, labeling, and storing supplies. Qualifications: + PTCB Certification and Tennessee Pharmacy Technician Registration required. + Minimum 2 years of compounding experience (5+ years preferred). + Experience in sterile and nonsterile compounding. + Familiarity with USP <797> and <800>compliance. + Hospital pharmacy experience and leadership interest are a plus. + Experience compounding multiple drug types preferred. Work Environment: + Fast-paced, detail-driven setting with two shift options: + First Shift:9 AM – 5 PM (may vary to 8:30 AM – 6 PM) + Second Shift:11 AM – 7 PM + Monday through Friday schedule.
