Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Compounding / Order Fulfillment

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician whose primary responsibility will be order fulfillment, accounting for 85% or more of the role. The position involves working in a fast-paced compounding pharmacy environment, focusing on creating custom-tailored dosage forms for both human and veterinary patients.

ResponsibilitiesFulfill orders by compounding prescriptions using various techniques such as weighing, mixing, grinding, levigating, and encapsulating.Answer phones and assist customers in the will-call area.Process and type prescriptions, and restock pharmacy supplies.Perform cleaning tasks such as washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.Prepare shipping labels and process payments using customers' credit cards.Attend regular team meetings and assist lab supervisors and pharmacists with special requests.Utilize physical effort for tasks such as lifting containers, standing for long periods, and using hands and arms for various compounding tasks.Essential SkillsOregon Pharmacy Technician certification or License required.1+ year of experience in any pharmacy setting.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proven history of reliability and positive attendance.Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Experience in customer service and pharmacy support.Capability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.Strong work ethic with drive and motivation to meet performance metrics.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
