Job Title: Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Compounding Pharmacy Technician to perform hazardous sterile and non-hazardous compounding tasks. You will be responsible for creating testosterone formulations with a seed oil base and maintaining a clean and organized compounding environment, adhering to USP and standards. Documentation of all compounding activities, including batch records, cleaning logs, and quality control checks, is essential. Participation in quality assurance and quality control programs, as well as assistance with inventory management, is also required.

ResponsibilitiesPerform hazardous sterile and non-hazardous compounding.Compound testosterone formulations with a seed oil base.Maintain a clean and organized compounding environment, including routine cleaning and disinfection of work areas and equipment as required by USP and .Accurately document all compounding activities such as batch records, cleaning logs, and quality control checks.Participate in quality assurance and quality control programs.Assist with inventory management, including receiving, labeling, and storing compounding materials and supplies.Essential SkillsPharmacy compounding experience.USP and compliance.Sterile and nonsterile compounding experience.PTCB certification.Must be registered in Tennessee.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience preferred, but candidates with 2 years of experience will be considered.Hospital experience preferred but not required.Leadership ability or interest in leadership opportunities is a plus.Experience in compounding multiple drugs is preferred.Work Environment

The position is based in a fast-paced environment and requires flexibility in working hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. You will be joining a team of 6 pharmacists within a total staff of 30 at a 5,000 sq ft facility, which is currently undergoing a 4,000 sq ft expansion. There are 6 hoods in place with 8 more being added.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
