Job Description
Hiring for 2nd shift 2pm-10:30PM
Essential Functions:
• Fills cans/containers/totes/drums with product to certain weights.
• Labels all cans/containers.
• Box all products in accurate containers with accurate labels to be shipped to customers/warehouse.
• Complete First Piece Inspection Forms
• Clean vessels/tanks using appropriate PPE.
• Store waste drums on 48-inch pallets and keep pallets free of spills
• Attach correct arm lock to container according to finished good and the type of box it which it will be shipped.
• Use and read various scales.
• Setup work station.
• Count finished goods.
• Operate the stretch wrapper
. • Lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
• Pass forklift certification.
• Operate hand held scanners.
• Maintains a clean work environment.
• Follows all departmental policies
. • Perform additional duties as assigned
• Commit to the Company’s safety and quality programs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Forklift experience is a plus, but we will train and certify you if you don't have experience here yet! Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions and safety rules. Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and training. MUST be reliable, punctual and a good team player!Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Routinely lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or company products weighing up to 100 pounds. Employees may be standing/kneeling/walking on concrete for approximately 90% of the workday. Employees may also have to operate a forklift up to 10% of the day. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Starting Pay for Process Technician is $19.60/hr
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
