Job Title: Compounder
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and mixing ingredients, identifying and melting solids, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesRetrieve and accurately measure ingredients using scales.Mix various ingredients and identify solids that need melting using hot plates.Dilute ingredients as necessary and record raw materials usage.Maintain quality standards through in-process batch inspections and documenting process events.Process liquids, powders, and use homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding.Accurately weigh dyes and other substances into the equipment following standard batch instructions.Check consistency and measure viscosity of mixtures.Take samples for laboratory testing.Follow food safety guidelines and document work completed.Wear a uniform and proper personal protective equipment (PPE).Work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and perform under pressure.Sample and test various attributes of mixes post-completion.Follow sanitary guidelines and clean equipment.Pack and label containers per customer specifications, completing all required documentation.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Essential SkillsExperience in mixing and compounding.At least 1 year of experience in liquid flavor compounding, flavors, and fragrance.At least 1 year of experience in a GMP environment.At least 1 year of experience in small-scale compounding.Additional Skills & QualificationsPossess a go-getter mentality.Work Environment

The role operates from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with flexibility to work weekends. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring adherence to sanitary and safety guidelines. Employees are required to wear uniforms and appropriate PPE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
