Adhere to HR, S&H policies, respect GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and follow departmental procedures with respect to manufacturing, preweigh, and receiving. Contribute positive results to the bulk department key objectives (QA Index, GCM, S&H, RFT)._ **THE ROLE** In this role you will be responsible for: **_Computer Systems Knowledge:_** + _Must have a good working knowledge of computer software systems used_ **_Pre-weigh Duties:_** + _Accurately weigh raw materials for batches_ + _Locate and retrieve raw materials for batches_ + _Pick chemicals in the computer system to maintain our inventory supply_ **_Bulk Manufacturing Duties:_** + _Manufacture bulk batches_ + _Manufacture pilot batches_ + _Manufacture color solutions_ **_General Duties:_** + _Achieve an understand of GMPs and employ those practices at all times by maintaining a clean and safe work area_ + _Maintain accuracy in work_ + _Understand raw material safety procedures, knows how to obtain safety information for raw materials unknown to them and uses the suggested personal safety equipment_ + _Demonstrate willingness to work reasonable overtime as required_ + _Perform duties at a satisfactory pace_ + _Maintain a positive relationship with the manufacturing and IC departments_ + _Routinely interacts with management_ + _Must be able to multitask_ **_Key Indicators:_** + _Reduce total supply chain costs_ + _Improve quality_ + _Schedule adherence_ + _Safety_ + _Improve reliability_ + _Develop organization_ **WHAT YOU’LL BRING** We’d love to see candidates who have: **_Essential:_** + _High School Diploma_ **_Knowledge:_** + _Have satisfactory knowledge in Basic Arithmetic. This will enable the employee to perform basic weighing and measuring functions; Must be able to use a calculator and demonstrate this skill_ + _Basic knowledge of GCM, QA, and TAR indices_ + _Basic mechanical knowledge of mixing and weighing equipment_ **_Functional/Technical Skills:_** + _Basic Reading and Comprehension – Employee is required to read and comprehend bulk-manufacturing documents pertaining to the manufacture of bulk batches. Must be able to demonstrate this skill_ + _Duties require a high degree of accuracy in the job performance and attention to detail category_ + _Have satisfactory attendance, safety record and work performance_ + _Meets the minimal requirements to obtain a valid forklift license_ + _Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as raise and move up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds) unassisted and maneuver drums weighing approximately 200 kilos (440 pounds)_ + _Strong communication skills_ + _Understand importance of teamwork and how it applies to the Bulk Processing Department_ + _Have a basic understanding of Coty’s customers (internal and external) and understand role in customer satisfaction_ + _Committed to completion of work assignments_ + _Eager to assist others when required_ + _Is an active participant in meetings and voices opinions openly; shares new ideas_ **_Abilities:_** + _Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization_ **WHAT WE OFFER** **_Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:_** _This is a full-time position._ _This position requires the ability to work mandatory overtime to meet business needs either within the day and/or the weekend and business operates on multiple shifts._ **_Work Environment:_** _While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration._ **_Physical Demands:_** _The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job._ **_Very Heavy:_** _Requires exertion more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects._ _Duration & Repetitive Standards_ _Occasional repetitive activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time equivalent to 2.5 hours of an 8-hour work day or up to 20 minutes each hour._ This is unique role with a genuine opportunity to make an impact.
