SEL has an exciting opportunity to welcome a new employee-owner to our Product Compliance team in Pullman, WA. As a Compliance Technician - EMC you will oversee projects, provide technical support to customers, and work in a state-of-the-art test facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests and document results appropriately in accordance with SEL’s quality system.Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of applicable standards and requirements for EMC testing.Validate and troubleshoot test equipment and setups to ensure compliance.Provide overall support to Product Compliance and R&D personnel.Seek opportunities to identify, measure, and improve processes and documentation.Required Qualifications
Two-year electronic technology or related associate degree5+ years of experience with EMC compliance test methods and philosophies at an electronics development and manufacturing companyHands on working knowledge of common EMC testing equipmentTesting experience with one or more of the following:IEC/EN/KN 61000-4-2, -3, -4, -5, -6, -8, -9, -10, -11, -12, -13, -16, -17, -18, -29IEC/EN 61000-3-2, -3IEC/EN/KN 60255-26IEEE C37.90.1, .2, .3Unintentional Radiators (FCC Part 15B and CISPR 11, 22, 32)Self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to work independently in an efficient mannerStrong attention to detailsStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skillsAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitiesAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentBackground check results satisfactory to SELNegative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications

Salary Information
$24.60 - $32.75 per hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
