Help us build the future of corrections in Montana. **The*Compliance Specialist*position enhances the Agency’s adherence to using Evidence-Based practices (EBP). The position is responsible for measuring how well programs adhere to research. The use of risk and needs assessment tools, facilitated groups and other EBP’s, improves the quality of risk and needs assessment tools, facilitated groups, and other EBPs in the institutions and community. · Ensure DOC and contracted facilities are using risk and needs assessments to ensure appropriate programming referrals are made, to positively impacts desistance and recidivism. · Responsible for overseeing, reviewing, and facilitating initial, recertification, and ongoing training related to EBPs. · Assist in updating, reviewing, and determining applicable policies and procedures for DOC. *QUALIFICATIONS:* · Bachelor’s degree in a helping profession (social work, psychology, clinical, etc.) or a related field is required. · Three years of directly related work experience preferred. * *Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. *BENEFITS:* Your service is rewarded with competitive compensation and generous* *State of Montana Benefits.
