Responsibilities Develop and exhibit subject matter expertise in assigned areas of responsibility as related to Insurance Product Filings.Develop and communicate Company expectations to internal and external customers relative to assigned areas of responsibility.Meet statutory reporting obligations within assigned areas of responsibility.Develop, enhance, distribute, and maintain business processes and procedures within assigned areas of responsibility.Monitor new laws or promulgated regulations relative to areas of responsibility.Develop and implement appropriate measures of internal and external compliance within areas of responsibility.Maintain relationships with various state insurance departments and other regulatory bureaus/entities relative to areas of responsibility.Research and analyze unique requirements resulting from new program managers, new products, or changes in insurance regulations.Assist with special projects as needed.Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or business administration preferred.A minimum of two years of experience in a compliance position required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance required.Knowledge of NAIC and state insurance regulatory compliance required.General knowledge of the insurance industry required.Working familiarity of SERFF - System for Electronic Rate Form Filings required.Working knowledge of Insurance Product Filings preferred.Knowledge of NAIC annual statement lines of business helpful.Excellent people and interpersonal skills.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently upon management direction.Must be willing to problem solve and take on new responsibilities.Research and analysis of regulations, statutes, and case law across 50 states.
