We are currently seeking a Compliance Professional to join our Legal & Compliance team at Siemens Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in Kartal, Istanbul location. This role will serve as a trusted Compliance partner, providing guidance to support our business operations.

 

What part will you play?

Execute tasks, policies, procedures, guidelines and controls to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, both local and global. Provide back-up for the Export Control Business Partner and the Regional Compliance Officer in the country. Facilitate the monitoring of an appropriate internal control system especially through the execution of internal controls and the monitoring of the compliance key risk indicators. Follow an Internal Control Plan to assure internal control effectiveness, segregation of duties, risk mitigations, compliance adherence and good governance implementation and communicate to management the internal control planning, results and recommendations. Agree and follow remediation plans with control owners. Monitor and implement the Compliance Framework within the company. Provide support for managing Data Protection regulations and related activities. Follow change managements to reflect process simplification, efficiency and digitalization. Support internal auditors and external auditors when required.

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or related fields. Good command of Turkish and English in speaking, writing and reading. German will be a plus. Advance level of MS Office Applications. Previous compliance related work experience is preferred. Eager to read and learn about various aspects of Compliance rules and requirements and interested in following geopolitical developments in the world and in Turkiye that may affect our jobs and organization. Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills. High sense of responsibility, adaptability to strict deadlines.
