Lineage Logistics is hiring a Compliance Practitioner to help foster a culture of safety excellence in one of the most dynamic environments in logistics—cold storage and food distribution **What You’ll Do** As a Safety & Food Safety Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment. You'll collaborate with site leadership and frontline teams to improve safety and food safety processes, prepare for audits, and ensure compliance with national regulations and customer standards. **Key Responsibilities** + Champion the **Lineage Safety Program** , promoting a zero-incident mindset across all departments. + Partner with leadership to improve safety and food safety systems ahead of audits (OSHA, FDA, USDA). + Lead investigations of safety or food incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented. + Perform regular audits and inspections for physical safety and food safety protocols. + Conduct team meetings and toolbox talks to share safety updates and best practices. + Track and manage safety supplies; coordinate restocking as needed. + Maintain accurate records, from training logs to audit reports. + Support compliance during third-party and regulatory audits. + Align safety procedures with client and corporate expectations. **What We’re Looking For** + High school diploma or GED (required); certifications such as HACCP or ServSafe (preferred). + **2+ years** in safety compliance or food safety, ideally in cold storage, logistics, or food handling. + Strong working knowledge of **OSHA, FDA, USDA, and GFSI** regulations. + Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital tracking systems. + Clear communication skills—you’re able to train and engage teams at every level. + Comfortable working in **cold environments** (as low as -20°F) and fast-paced logistics settings. **Bonus Points If You:** + Have experience leading safety trainings or orientations. + Thrive in fast-moving, physically dynamic environments. + Bring a proactive mindset and enjoy mentoring others in best practices. **Why Join Lineage?** At Lineage, we’re not just moving goods—we’re feeding the world.
