About the department

Join the Legal, Compliance and Quality Department at Novo Nordisk Iran, where we ensure the organization complies with the legal and compliance requirements of the company. Our team provides legal and compliance counsel across various business areas, ensuring ethical and compliant business activities. We foster a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere, where your contributions will help drive compliance and ethics in processes. Located in Iran, our department is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

The position

Please note that this is not a People Manager role and your responsibilities will include:

Providing compliance counsel and support related to internal policies, business ethics standards, and company regulations.Reviewing and drafting compliance codes and materials, and assisting in the development of training materials, compliance slides, and checklists.Supporting the compliance team in fostering an ethical culture and ensuring business activities align with relevant regulations, laws, and standards.Monitoring functional units' activities to ensure alignment with compliance objectives and directives.Managing and maintaining accurate documentation within the LCQ department to ensure readiness for compliance audits.Facilitating and managing compliance projects, optimising internal processes, and assisting in responses to compliance issues and queries.

Qualifications

Law degree with 3–5 years of relevant legal or compliance experience, ideally in a multinational company (preferably pharmaceutical) or an international law firm.Solid knowledge of Iranian laws and regulations with strong legal analysis and risk management skills.Effective English communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset with constructive assertiveness.Strong stakeholder management, business understanding, project management skills, and attention to detail.Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities guided by integrity and ethical standards.
