Regional Compliance Manager

Regional Compliance Manager

Objective

This role will work directly with our account team and Client and is critical in ensuring all Global Workplace Services (GWS) third party software rolled out on-site are compliant with Client’s policies. This position is ideal for someone who has a good understanding of software and technology, and is able to take a programmatic view towards software security, general compliance and roll-out.

This role will champion and be accountable for GWS related software compliance primarily in the “Rest of Asia” region (APAC excl Greater China and India). In addition to collaborating with colleagues on site support to carry out the tasks, the successful candidate will also collaborate with colleagues in the same role and T1 personnel across the APAC region to share best practices and alignment. 

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work creatively and effectively in a quickly changing environment. 

Duties and responsibilities

Collaborate with site leads to obtain a list of existing software in use at each site.Coach, guide and/or train various teams on software compliance requirement. Establish an efficient process towards the maintenance of an active list of all software for all sites and having visibility of new software to be rolled out on-site.Ensure that all software complies with 3rd party software governance requirements and is compliant with Client’s third party software policy and processesCreate a renewal plan to ensure that all software is renewed on time according to Client’s policyRemediate any non compliance in partnership with Client team(s).Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) assessment and process as it relates to software complianceActively participate and be the regional lead for related global programs. Ensure the implementation of global programs at the site level.Support regional presentations / client meetingsAny other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience

Ability to build constructive and collaborative working relationships across the region and intra region.A passion for program managementA Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field or at least 5 years of experience in a similar compliance or procurement role.  Strong communication and people skills, and ability to interact with a wide range of Client staff and demands.  Effectively bilingual (English and Mandarin)Prior software or FM procurement experience is a plus
