Compliance Engineer

**Overview**
Element has an opportunity for a **Compliance** **Engineer** to join our rapidly expanding team in Columbia, MD. As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.
Element Maryland conducts mobile and cellular device testingto meet the growing needs of many of the world’s leading technology product manufacturers, to have their products and devices independently tested against a diverse range of FCC regulatory requirements.
This position will work second shift. The estimated hours: 3pm - 12am ET.
This is a non-exempt position.
The salary range for this position is $29 - $58/hour.
**Responsibilities**
+ Test Tool Proficiency: Experience with Test equipment and logging tool like R&S, Anritsu, Keysight, QXDM and Wireshark
+ 4G/5G Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with protocols like RRM, RRC, RLC, MAC, RANAP, S1AP, NAS, and relevant 3GPP standards
+ Network Protocols: Understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, and other network protocols
+ Debugging and Analysis: Strong analytical and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues
+ Testing Methodologies: Understanding of functional, performance, and security testing
**Skills / Qualifications**
+ A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Electronics/Communication/Computer Science Engineering is expected
+ Cellular Testing: Experience in 4G/5G cellular lab testing,
+ Log Analysis: Ability to analyze cellular logs for troubleshooting and debugging
+ Troubleshooting: Experience with troubleshooting technical issues in Lab
+ Data/Voice/VoIP Testing: Experience with testing data, voice calls, and VoIP
+ Specific Technologies: Familiarity with NR NSA/SA protocols, LTE/IMS protocols, and carrier-defined test plans such as Verizon, T-Mobile
