How will you make an impact in this role?

The position will be specially focused in the AML governance framework for both American Express issuing and acquiring legal entities in Spain. Among other, the candidate should be able to:

Assist in the AML Committees and/or similar forum’s organization, including but not limited to gathering material/documentation from the relevant stakeholders/presenters, draft meeting minutes and coordinate the meeting/s. Provide a 2nd LOD AML support for the initiatives/projects/activities conducted by the company, provide guidance and support to the issuing line of business regarding AML related matters; and Coordination of the 2nd LOD AML Policies & Procedure’s framework.

Minimum Qualifications:

University Degree (preferable in Law). Knowledge of AML and Counter Terrorism Financing regulations, advising the business. Proven ability in designing and implementing regulatory compliance programs including analysis of regulation, risk assessments, design and draft of policies & procedures, reports, and monitoring programs. Analytical skills and strong business understanding. Ability to respond on a timely manner any queries from the business. Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent and solid communication (verbal and written) and influencing skills Ability to build strong relationships with business, stakeholders and partners Ability to adapt and handle several tasks at the same time and to work as a team Initiative and ability to assume responsibilities Strong English fluency (C2) is a must, both verbal and written.

AML Certificate (ICA, ACAMS…)
