The Global Risk & Compliance Group includes Operational Risk, Risk Oversight, Compliance and Global Privacy. These functions provide oversight as well as governance of risks and ensure the company operates in a safe and sound manner within global regulatory expectations.

How will you make a difference in this role?

In our Compliance department in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Compliance Assistant with focus on Governance/Privacy to join the dynamic and friendly team of compliance professionals.

They will be involved in all aspects of Compliance e.g.  monitoring and testing, training, development of policies & procedures, reporting.  The compliance assistant brings a good Compliance understanding with in depth GDPR knowledge and provides privacy related advice & support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Compliance advice to all lines of business by analyzing legislative an regulatory compliance requirements, policies and procedures. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and internal policy requirements. Contribute to the execution of Compliance monitoring programs to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements and procedures. Coordinate, compile and maintain Compliance reports, inventories of obligations and records of Compliance activities Contribute to building a Compliance culture by actively participating in awarenes and training events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Higher education Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations which include, but are not limited to: GDPR ,EU AML Regulations, Anti-Bribery and Corruption legislation.    Proactive and solution oriented. Professional maturity and confidence in expressing a point of view with colleagues at various levels.  Self-motivated, energetic team player with ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with all levels of management. The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environment Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
