Job Overview:
Primoris Services Corporation –Renewable Energy Segment (PRE) is currenting searching for a Field Trainer for our Solar Construction Sites.
PRE’s Training department is seeking experienced, knowledgeable, engaging individuals who can train our craft labor, operator, and/or electrical apprentices. Trainers are stationed on site and are responsible for managing and facilitating a set training program for PRE employees, mostly based on NCCER’s training materials, as well as evaluating crew competency and running other trainings as needed (such as train-the-trainer, field leadership trainings, work instruction trainings, etc.). Trainers should have a background in construction, preferably with a specific understanding of renewables, heavy equipment, and/or electrical.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities: 

Monitor apprenticeship program metrics for a project site to ensure 100% compliance with applicable regulations. Produce regular reports necessary for Project compliance for IRA and DOL Compliance. Gather apprenticeship program documentation and monitor apprentice progress. Interact with various project teams for compliance. Work closely with Payroll to validate certified payroll hours and rates. Quickly respond to and resolve any non-conformities identified within the project site based on guidance from Compliance Specialist. Auditing & reporting at the project site level. Serve as the Liaison for project site team and IRA compliance team. Answer questions and provide guidance regarding IRA and DOL compliance. Assist Field Trainer with track, scheduling, filing of documentation and reporting.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Construction experience preferred. Experience using multiple technology platforms to track & manage data and providing accurate forecasting.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Ability to create and launch new programs, services, or initiatives. Strong understanding of government regulations, IRA, certified payroll, and apprenticeship programs. Ability to navigate, Power BI, and related software platforms. Ability to provide exceptional customer service. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Detail oriented, strong task management and organizational skills. Adept at problem solving and critical thinking Strategic, innovative, and forward thinking. High level of initiative, self-motivation, and adaptability.

Benefits & Pay:

Paid Company Holidays Paid Time Off We provide paid sick leave as required by Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution. $18-$32 per hour, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.

 

Pay Equity:

$51,000 - $66,000 per hour

Primoris Renewable Energy provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule and is dependent upon experience, qualifications and competencies.
