Embedded within the Operations Team as part of a wider Enterprise - your mission will be to manage Complex Tasks to enhance the capabilities of Defence’s F/A-18 Super Hornet and EA-18 Growler Fleet in support of achieving Defence’s capability outcomes. The role of the Complex Task Manager is to work within a team and help the customer understand complex problems that arise within the sustainment program and how best to move forward to a successful outcome. The role relies heavily on strong communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships across a vast Enterprise of various Defence Contractors working together to support capability. **Key Responsibilities** + Leadership and management of all assigned tasks within the Operations Team. + Embodied in this role is the responsibility and accountability for ensuring that all task goals are achieved, all customer expectations are met or exceeded. + Responsible for maintaining and improving customer/client satisfaction. + Responsible for planning, control and reporting of tasks. + Coordination of task deliverables as per requirements. + Provide key communication and stakeholder engagement and management for assigned tasks. **Experience, Skills and Qualifications:** + A Tertiary or Trade Qualification relevant to aircraft maintenance + A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Defence Aviation maintenance environment + Tertiary Qualification in Project Management or equivalent + Proven understanding of the defence environment - with a minimum of 2 years' in Project Management and / or Engineering/Maintenance on Defence sustainment support projects + Proven high standard of written and verbal communication skills + Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance + Ability to meet the requirements of Raytheon Certified PM Ready or Leading at Level 5 in Acquisition and Sustainment + Understanding of financial cost control utilising earned value principles You must be and Australian citizen and/or eligible to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as needed.
