Job Title: Complex Needs Practitioner
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by substance misuse? A leading charity in Birmingham and Solihull is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Practitioner to join their dynamic team.

About the Role

This role focuses on delivering person-centred interventions to individuals impacted by substance misuse, including those affected by a family member's substance use. You will empower individuals to reduce risk, build resilience, and achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.

You will work holistically with individuals, their families, and community networks to address a wide range of well-being needs. These may include:

Knife crime preventionFamily support using the 5-Step MethodExploitation and safeguardingPhysical and emotional healthDetoxification and rehabilitationIntensive support for complex substance misuse cases

Key Responsibilities

Build trusting relationships with individuals and families affected by substance misuseManage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring accurate and timely case recording in line with GDPR and data protection policiesDevelop co-produced, outcome-focused support plans tailored to individual strengths and goalsCoordinate multi-agency interventions to ensure timely and appropriate supportParticipate in clinical case discussions and follow through on agreed actionsAdvocate for access to wider treatment options and additional support services
