Complaints Specialist 1
**Complaints Specialist 1** Perform analysis of returned devices. Support CAPAs, analyze complaint data, other additional tasks as needed. Provide feedback to the development and manufacturing teams on potential product improvements, product defects, and safety evaluations. **Your role:** + Responsible for receiving returned Philips products and confirming that the device matches the one reported. Devices are then segregated by aging status and all necessary documentation is completed accurately. + Performs visual inspection before cleaning and is responsible for the full decontamination process using bleach and glutaraldehyde. Ensures supplies like cleaning solutions, labels, and containers are well-stocked to maintain area efficiency. + Once devices are dry, they are properly packed and labeled. Also responsible for picking up packages from the warehouse and coordinating the timely disposal of biohazardous waste. + Coordinates with peers in other regions to manage device shipments and investigation statuses. Works closely with the Complaints team to resolve discrepancies and ensure closure of complaint records. + Conducts detailed product investigations to confirm reported complaints and assigns "As Analyzed" codes. Documents findings clearly, approves reports when needed, and escalates any potential safety issues to management and relevant teams. **You're the right fit if:** + Technical degree in Industrial Engineering or similar or equivalent job experience in related field. + Advanced Office knowledge. + English knowledge written and spoken (Basic to Intermediate). + Solid experience in complaints processing and/or investigation in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industry or related experience. + Experience with Complaints processing or direct role in handling/decontaminating bio-hazard product (preferred). Basic understanding of FDA CFR + Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
