Complaint & Failure Analysis Technician 2

**Responsibilities:**
+ Under general supervision, follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills to identify and research component failures to improve product quality and reliability.
+ Work with senior staff to define failure analysis strategies based on Mid-Low level investigation trends.
+ Responsible for identifying and researching component failures to improve product quality and reliability.
+ Enter each complaint part/device and investigation results onto a failure analysis database
+ May provide assistance to junior staff with more general support tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.
+ May refer to senior staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.
+ Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.
+ Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
+ Using knowledge of product able to provide reliable output on mid to low level investigations as directed by supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma required.
+ Associates Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or related technical field Preferred.
+ 0 - 4 years' related technical experience preferred
+ Ability to perform component level troubleshooting with general supervision desirable.
+ Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings is a plus.
+ Good understanding of mechanics.
+ Visa to travel to US is required.
+ **Bilingual (English / Spanish). (Required)**
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Knowledgeable in structured problem solving.
+ Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
+ Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
