Competitor Intelligence Lead
We are looking to recruit a Competitor Intelligence Lead to join our team in Cluj, Romania! In this role you will help better identify and target those competitor platforms that are obsolete and providing less value to customers. You will handle the input, analysis, maintenance and development of the tools designed to help the Emerson Sales Organization’s identify modernization opportunities based on where obsolete Competitor Systems may be causing Customer pain. If this sounds like an interesting job for you, then join our team at Emerson! **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Validate gathered data to ensure accuracy and reliability. + Collaborate with the country Field Sales Organizations (FSO) and country-specific teams to gather data for inputting into the Map. + Communicate directly with customers to gain access to System information. + Replicate data gathering and validation activities across different countries and regions to main consistency. + Prepare reports and present findings to management. + Help connect the tool to other industry tools that will drive lead and opportunity assessment. + Suggestions for the development of the tool beyond the data gathering phase to enable effective lead generation for the knowledge available in the Tool such as Datamart, Shutdown and Turnaround information and IIR. **Who You Are:** You model high standards of honesty and integrity. You observe situational and group dynamics and select best-fit approaches. **For this Role, You Will Need:** + Min of 2 years of Industrial Automation knowledge or experience in a similar field. + Proven track record to meeting strategic deadlines and strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. + Proficiency in statistical software, databases and digital tools. (Excel, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.) + Excellent communication and presentation skills. + Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and validation. + Ability to work with large amounts of data and turn it into actionable insights. + Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and international organizations. + Strong knowledge of sales processes and strategies. + Strong analytical, validation, and strategic thinking abilities. + Proficiency in research methodologies and data gathering techniques. + Proficiency in English. **Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:** + Proficiency in other European languages (German, French, Dutch) is a plus. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** _At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
