Compensation Senior Analyst

**Description**
+ Serve as compensation contact to HR managers to provide advice, direction, and guidance on complex compensation matters.
+ Conduct advanced market benchmarking of jobs to ensure the company is in alignment with industry pay.
+ Participate in department audits and create reports based on that information.
+ Evaluate and ensure that job descriptions used are up-to-date and accurate.
+ Participate in the design, implementation, and communication of various compensation and salary programs such as annual performance and merit increases.
+ Respond to emails from the compensation inbox for a variety compensation requests.
+ Support benefits and recognition programs as needed.
+ Ad hoc assignments as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
+ Advanced knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures of compensation to accomplish assigned tasks and solve.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
+ Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
+ Knowledge of compensation for union, Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis Bacon Act (DBA) positions.
+ Ability to work with people managers and advise through job evaluations, compensation projects and compensation education for all levels within the organization.
Experience/Education
+ 5 years of experience in building compensation programs from the ground up. Experience in global compensation regulations and compensation compliance on a federal, state and local levels. Compensation surveys, compensation planning, merit increases and incentives payouts.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
+ Preferred SHRM or CPP certification
