The Compensation Manager will have the opportunity to work remotely from within the United States. The Compensation Manager is responsible for leading compensation strategy implementation including managing salary structure and salary range development, incentive structures, sales incentives, job analysis and pricing, and application to our employee population (including base salary and variable compensation plans). This role ensures that compensation strategies align with business goals and comply with regulatory requirements. The Compensation Manager collaborates with P&C, finance, and leadership teams to develop competitive salary structures and incentive plans. They play a crucial role in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent by ensuring fair and equitable pay practices. **As a Compensation Manager, you will:** + Design and maintain competitive compensation programs that align with business strategy and talent goals. + Conduct regular market benchmarking and analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. + Partner with People & Culture (P&C), Finance, and business leaders to develop and administer incentive, bonus, and recognition programs. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws, regulations, and internal governance standards. + Lead the annual compensation cycle, including salary reviews, merit increases, and bonus allocations, with data-driven recommendations. + Analyze compensation trends and workforce data to provide actionable insights to leadership and support strategic decision-making. + Oversee job architecture and evaluation processes, ensuring consistent application of compensation philosophy and leveling frameworks. + Provide training and consultative support to HR business partners and managers on compensation policies, tools, and best practices. + Serve as the subject matter expert for compensation-related modules in Workday, ensuring accurate configuration, data integrity, and process optimization. + Lead compensation workstreams in M&A activity, including due diligence, integration planning, and harmonization of pay practices. + Drive compensation-related system enhancements and reporting in collaboration with the P&C Operations and HRIS teams. + Must be fluent in system compensation administration, including job catalog, grade profiles, compensation plans, and merit cycle configuration. + Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and elevate the employee experience. + Understanding of international compensation practices and ability to support global compensation strategies. **What you bring to the role:** + Strong analytical and quantitative skills. + Excellent communication and presentation abilities. + High level of expertise in Excel and proficiency in compensation analysis software and PowerPoint presentation development. + In-depth understanding of compensation laws and regulations. + Ability to work collaboratively across departments. + Minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation management with at least 2 years of leadership experience. + Bachelor's Degree required. **What you can expect from us:** + Our shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respect + The opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages you + A collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional development + Competitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeing + Flexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of work + Opportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different cultures Cherry Bekaert cares about our people. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
