Compensation includes a base salary of $144,900.00 - $241,500.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Are you an experienced professional with a passion for compensation management? Cox Communications is seeking a dynamic Compensation Director to lead our Compensation Enablement team. In this role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our compensation policies and programs, ensuring they are cost-effective and aligned with the latest trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage compensation operations and processes across the corporation.
Develop and direct compensation strategies and programs to achieve business objectives and respond to competitive labor market conditions.
Collaborate with senior People Solutions and business leaders to:
Evaluate and enhance the company's competitive position from a compensation perspective.
Identify and recommend strategies to improve recruitment and retention.
Ensure alignment of compensation objectives, policies, and practices with the company's rewards philosophy and other People Solutions initiatives.
Investigate and resolve complex and sensitive compensation issues raised by senior management or escalated from staff.
Oversee the integration of compensation programs and processes during acquisitions.
Provide leadership for the company's rewards and recognition philosophy and tools.
Partner with the HR Solutions team on significant job and market evaluation projects.
Analyzes and recommends progressive approaches to lifecycle pay practices, including merit, equity, and salary structures.
Design, implement, communicate, and evaluate short-term incentive and bonus plans to motivate and reward employees.
Select and manage department staff, set performance standards, conduct performance reviews, and manage salary decisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Accounting, or a related discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role; OR 14 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS degree with 8+ years of experience in a related discipline; or Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience in a related discipline.
Experience in telecommunications or media.
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification.
