The Compensation Consultant for EMEA is a strategic partner to the People Team and business leaders across the region. In this role, you’ll deliver market-based compensation solutions, advise on pay decisions, and support regional execution of compensation programs.
You’ll lead job evaluations, market benchmarking, and annual planning activities while helping to scale planning processes and ensure alignment with global frameworks. This role requires strong consulting skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to navigate regional nuances in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
**About the Team**
The Compensation team at Nutanix is a dynamic and collaborative group, globally distributed with members in varioys locations. This role will be based in Serbia. The culture of the team emphasizes curiosity, flexibility, and the importance of building strong relationships with stakeholders. This team's mission is to provide strategic compensation support that aligns with Nutanix's growth objectives, ensuring that compensation practices are competitive and transparent, especially in the expanding EMEA market.
You will report to the Director of Compensation, located in Germany, who leads with a flexible and open-minded approach, appreciating diverse perspectives and innovative ideas from team members. The team operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring the new hire to be in the office three days a week starting in August, aligning with the established guidelines for other team members in the region.
**Your Role**
**Regional Strategy & Program Execution**
+ Analyse and apply regional market data to inform pay ranges, levelling, and compensation design
+ Lead execution of annual compensation planning activities in EMEA countries and functions, including calibration and audit support
+ Advise on new hire offers, promotions, and internal transfers to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
+ Support job evaluations and role architecture reviews in line with global framework
**Pay Equity & Transparency**
+ Lead EMEA pay audits in partnership with Legal
+ Identify trends, risks, and opportunities of action to drive equitable outcomes
+ Collaborate on development of tools, training, and processes to support fair pay decisions
+ Provide executive-ready summaries and dashboards to support governance and reporting needs
**Consulting & Enablement**
+ Partner with People Team and business leaders to advise on compensation strategies aligned with talent priorities
+ Contribute to global process improvement and policy alignment across regions
**Mobility & Regional Support**
+ Advise on compensation decisions for internal mobility, relocations, and cross-border transfers within the region
+ Ensure pay decisions are aligned with both local practices and global standards
**What You Will Bring**
+ Strong compensation experience with the ability to operate in a fast-growing environment
+ Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders using data-driven insights
+ Experience with compensation benchmarking, program design, and job evaluation
+ Analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Workday, and Tableau, familiarity in Pave, Compa, Syndio is a plus
+ High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
+ Strong communication, consulting, and project/change management skills
+ Workday and Tableau experience a plus
+ CCP or equivalent certification is a plus
**Work Arrangement**
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
