Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Love your job.** The Compensation and Benefits Specialist for is responsible for the effectiveness of our total rewards strategy in defined Asia countries, focusing on manufacturing and support organizations. The core responsibility therefore is to develop, implement and administer competitive compensation and benefits that attract, motivate and retain talent while being consistent with global strategies and locally relevant and meeting business needs. Core responsibilities/activities: + Conduct annual market assessment and take ownership for the quality of market data used to guide decision-making + Recommend the base pay budget required for the annual focal review + Periodically review the competitiveness and effectiveness of our C&B components in defined Asia countries and make recommendations to close any gaps if required + Establish tools and channels which empower HR business partners and line Specialists with the necessary knowledge to make effective reward decisions + Develop, recommend and implement employee benefit plans and policies + Execute the functional processes, such as, but not limited to, the annual focal review cycle (CRP), annual benefits enrollments, insurance renewals, etc. + Partner with operations and communications teams to ensure efficient execution, implementation and communication of benefits programs + Drive country-specific C&B analysis, initiatives, or projects that enhance TI defined Asia countries’ C&B competitiveness or operational efficiency. + Drive the right balance between corporate and local considerations (i.e. Deploy our corporate rewards strategy within the country while ensuring that local market dynamics are appropriately factored) + Network internally and externally as the go-to knowledge expert for everything related to compensation and benefits within defined Asia countries + Manage and direct external vendors and consultants and appropriately influence vendor processes and operations to achieve the best outcomes for TI + Proactively monitor regulatory changes related to benefits and interface with subject matter experts in legal, accounting, payroll, and other functions to identify and resolve issues. Support responsibilities: + Provide real-time consulting to HR business partners, staffing team and line Specialists related to offers, counter-offers, payroll transfers, and other routine frontline HR activities + Research and analyze comp/benefit plan trends, utilization patterns and demographic issues; develop appropriate plans or programs to address issues. + Work with defined HR countries HR team to design local policy documents and effective governance process flows and checks + Provide ongoing education and training to business HR, line Specialists and employees + Provide ad-hoc support (or lead) regional projects that may arise from time-to-time (e.g. Regional practice or policy alignment) **Why TI?** + Engineer your future.
