Compensation & Benefits Specialist
Description We are looking for a dedicated Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team in Matthews, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that support employee well-being and align with organizational goals. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain comprehensive compensation and benefits programs to meet organizational and employee needs. • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. • Oversee the administration of claims, COBRA, and other benefit-related processes. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication of total rewards and benefit offerings. • Benchmark compensation structures to remain competitive within the industry. • Manage benefit functions, including enrollment, renewals, and updates, to ensure smooth operations. • Provide support for commission-based compensation plans and ensure accuracy in processing. • Utilize CRM systems to track and analyze employee data related to compensation and benefits. • Lead employee education initiatives to enhance understanding of benefits and compensation programs. • Partner with external vendors to ensure effective delivery of benefit services. Requirements • Proven experience in compensation and benefits administration within an environment requiring attention to detail. • Strong knowledge of COBRA regulations, claims administration, and benefits compliance. • Proficiency with CRM systems and tools used for compensation and benefits management. • Expertise in compensation benchmarking and total rewards strategies. • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information to employees and stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with strong auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Familiarity with commission-based compensation structures and processes. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
