Stantec Middle East is looking to expand their HR department by hiring a Compensation and Benefits Analyst. Compensation and Benefits Analyst will be in the Makati office and will lead and support Compensation, Benefits, payroll, total rewards & HRIS activities regionwide: UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and KSA.
Job Summary: The Compensation and Benefits Officer will support and administer the compensation, benefits, and payroll processes for the Middle East region. This role involves managing short-term incentive plans, salary and benefits benchmarking, payroll processing, and HRIS maintenance. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with payroll accounting, benefits accruals, and labor laws while providing excellent support to employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Support and administer the compensation and benefits process for the Middle East region, including monitoring and managing performance appraisal systems, short-term incentive plans, salary benchmarking, and benefits benchmarking & renewals.
- Administer employee medical insurance and life insurance benefits, including maintaining census data for yearly insurance renewals and managing new additions and deletions of employees and family members in medical insurance.
Payroll and HRIS Processes:
- Support and administer payroll and HRIS processes for the Middle East region, including maintaining employee records within E1, Deltek, and Paylite systems.
- Administer monthly payroll processing and salary payments.
- Manage the employee leave management system, ensuring all leave entitlements, leave avails, and carry-over balances are as per company leave policies.
- Administer employee leave records and balances in the payroll system.
- Work to Automate HR processes using Microsoft powerapps or AI for efficiency
HR Systems Maintenance:
- Administer regional HR systems' functional activities, including support and maintenance of the system.
- Ensure the HR system is up to date with the latest payroll and labor laws.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Liaise with the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with all activities related to payroll accounting, benefits accruals, and final settlement.
- Assist in preparing periodic HR reports and analytics data, such as monthly headcount reports, leave and gratuity accruals reports, and turnover ratios for the HR Manager, Finance Manager, and senior management.
Employee Support:
- Handle and resolve all employee queries related to compensation, benefits, and payroll.
- Issue HR documents such as salary certificates, employment certificates, salary transfer letters, NOC letters, etc., for visa requirements, bank account openings, and travel purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compensation and benefits administration, payroll processing, and HRIS management.
- Strong knowledge of payroll accounting, benefits accruals, and labor laws in the Middle East region.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as E1, Deltek, and Paylite.
- Proficiency in MS Office Softwares (MS Excel, PowerApps, Word) and HR, Compensation & Payroll Systems
- Fluency in English and high degree of numeracy and literacy
Skills:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
