As a Compensation Associate within JPMorganChase, you will provide strategic solutions and expert advice to business leaders and HR business advisors; combining in-depth knowledge of compensation principles, understanding of the business needs, market and regulatory landscape, and associated detailed analysis/models. In this role, you will perform a variety of compensation activities, including providing guidance to line and HR management regarding compensation actions for employees, administering/coordinating annual compensation planning processes, and analyzing and reporting internal and external market compensation data.

Supporting end-to-end annual compensation planning via analytics, modelling and reportingWorking with teams across many different areas of HR and the business, offering a huge range of skillsets, leadership styles and opportunities to learnUnderstanding business priorities and effectively diagnosing issues; providing clear advice and recommendations to help partners make informed and sound comp-related decisions Simplifying and improving the way we do things with fresh ideas, strategy, design iteration and implementation to ensure our compensation programs, policies and processes align with business strategy, best practice and our risk and controls frameworkAdvising on compensation related activities, including new hire offers, promotions, transfers, budget allocation/forecasting and top talent retentionParticipating in firmwide projects involving compensation, including policy reviews, changes in compensation practices, and systems developmentBeing part of a global team representing diversity of thought, experience and backgrounds who are friendly, committed, hard-working and growth orientedRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills
