Compensation Analyst (Hybrid)

Compensation is a specialized area of Rewards focusing on compensation design, management, and analysis. Develops, implements and administers compensation such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, performance appraisals, salary increases, salary surveys and pay policies. Provides services in Executive Compensation, International Compensation, Sales Compensation, Equity Compensation and other specialized areas of compensation. Oversees the organization's compensation philosophy and programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategies. Plans, develops, and implements compensation programs that are internally equitable, externally competitive, and legally compliant. Researches and develops incentive programs, including sales. Manages the annual review process, including job evaluation, base pay and incentive plan review, merit budgets, etc. Oversees annual compensation survey participation, benchmarking process, and data analysis. Researches best compensation practices in the market. Makes recommendations regarding salary grades and market rates for specific jobs or functional areas. Vendor management for external market data systems and consultants for executive compensation and other resources.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work from home.

Responsibilities

Handles full salary survey process lifecycle including the gathering survey participation materials, submission of data, responding to vendor queries, downloading survey results and reports, and preparing and loading results into our survey library.

Run recurring reports on a daily, biweekly, or monthly basis for broad-based, sales, and executive compensation, as well as equity administration areas.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of compensation data, including salary, bonus, and equity components.

Prepare data submission for both ad hoc and planned mass updates in Workday.

Partner closely with Workday system partners to ensure data is processed in a timely and accurate manner, and to resolve any queries that might arise.

Perform job evaluations for new roles in the context of assisting HRBPs with the creation of new job roles. Duties include assisting with the writing of job descriptions if needed, and evaluating job role as it relates to the compensation structure.

Assist with competitive benchmarking analysis and gathering internal/external pay data for off-cycle market adjustments, and analyses for promotions and new hire offers.

Assist with preparing communications for compensation programs.

Support corporate-wide processes such as year-end, semi-annual promotions and other special projects and processes as needed.

Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Work closely with HR business partners to understand their needs and provide support. 

Skills and Qualifications:

Analytical Skills:  Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting data, conducting research, and developing compensation strategies. 

Professional Skills:  Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, including building analyses and models in Excel.  Experience with Power BI or SQL would be a plus.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve compensation-related issues. Critically evaluate information, make sound judgments, and solve problems.

Knowledge of Compensation Principles: Understanding of compensation theories, practices, and regulations.

Experience: A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field is required.

Salary range $75,000.00 - $85,000.00. Bonus Eligible.
