Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards team. This role is perfect for someone with a solid HR foundation and a passion for data-driven decision-making. You will play a key role in supporting Talent Acquisition and compensation strategy, ensuring our practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant.
Responsibilities
+ Evaluate resumes and skillsets to determine appropriate compensation.
+ Collaborate with recruiters to finalize job offers.
+ Provide compensation guidance and insights to hiring managers.
+ Review and analyze job descriptions to assign salary grades and ensure internal equity.
+ Conduct market analysis using internal platforms to benchmark compensation.
+ Communicate with department leaders to support salary reviews and compensation planning.
+ Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including pay equity.
+ Perform data entry and maintain records across platforms including Word and spreadsheets.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in Human Resources with exposure to compensation practices.
+ Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using spreadsheets.
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
+ Familiarity with compensation survey tools and market analysis platforms.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Work Environment
This position is located in Middletown, CT, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite per week. The work environment is an office setting, working full-time from Monday to Friday. The contract duration is 6 months, with potential for conversion to a permanent role. You will be part of a growing team with great culture, consisting of two members within the Total Rewards team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $41.00/hr.
