You'll be supported by colleagues who genuinely care about your success and well-being. **What You'll Do** + **Payroll Processing:** Compiles, inputs, and uploads all payroll entries for weekly/bi-weekly payroll into third party payroll processing systems, and special payroll processing when warranted. + **Partner in Research and Analysis:** A commitment to staying updated with market trends and technology to align data driven compensation strategies. + **System Tools:** Support the development of user processes to ensure the accuracy, trackability and timeliness of compensation changes, employee absences, and attendance points to ensure compliance. + **Audit and Compliance:** Maintain regular audits of employee personnel files and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure legal compliance and consistency in all fields related to employment law. + **Mentorship:** Provide guidance and training to stakeholders and peers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing to ensure day-to-day application of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. + **Safety:** Ensure a safe working environment by upholding safety protocols and promoting a safety-first culture among all employees. + **Demonstrate HODGE Values:** Model HODGE core values of Family, Integrity, Ambition, Respect, and Balance. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required. **Education/Experience:** + Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain compensation-related topics to employees, managers, and stakeholders. + High attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling payroll data and compensation adjustments, is important. + Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + An analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify discrepancies, and recommend practical solutions. + Collaborative team player, able to build relationships and work effectively across HR, finance, and operations teams. + Experience with payroll processing, compensation programs, and related regulatory and compliance requirements. + Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems with the ability to navigate, audit, and update employee data effectively. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential for data analysis, audits, and reporting. + Commitment to promoting a positive workplace and safety-first culture.  + Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance, or a related field preferred. **_Your future starts here!
