As a Compensation Senior Associate, within the JPMorgan Compensation Team, you must have a critically important balance of business acumen, organizational agility, analytical capability, and critical thinking to propel initiatives that directly support your aligned business groups.
Job Responsibilities
Support end to end annual compensation planning, reporting, and administration, involving global coordination across multiple clients and/or line(s) of businessContinually assessing market conditions and pay practices of compensation plans and programsParticipate on cross-functional project teams as appropriate to support alignment within the broader Compensation DepartmentProvide compensation consulting and thought leadership to business leaders and business unit functions in close partnership with HR Business PartnersReview and approval of offer packages to ensure the firm is following industry trends and compliance with guidelinesLeveraging partners and firm-wide resources to achieve desired outcomes efficiently and with consistency across lines of business, where appropriateRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelors’ degree with 5 years of Human Resources, Data Analytics, or Finance experienceExceptional/advanced Microsoft Office skills; particularly PowerPoint and ExcelStrong technical skills including the ability to create presentations and analyses to convey complex metrics to senior leadersSelf-starter with desire to explore concepts and create data focused solutionsProven consulting skills; ability to manage business goals through Human Resource/Compensation strategies and address issues/devise solutions with creativity and innovationAbility to work collaboratively and to cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external clients and colleaguesWell-developed analytical skills; strong planning and project management skillsDesire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
