Community Relations and Youth Hockey Internship, Boston Bruins

The opportunityBoston Bruins is hiring Community Relations and Youth Hockey Interns to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, for the Fall 2025 season. As a Community Relations and Youth Hockey Intern, you will assist community relations staff with daily activities and projects.  

Interns will participate in a rotating game schedule, ensuring varied and engaging tasks throughout their internship.

We are seeking interns to join our team with the following schedule:

Mondays and Wednesdays: 10 AM - 4 PM (2 interns)Tuesdays and Thursdays:    10 AM - 4 PM (2 interns)

 

 

Pay $15.00 - $15.00 / hour

What will you do?Create promotional ideas and events for current and potential community relations strategies and sponsorsWrite event recaps and maintain a comprehensive record of media clips that cover the Boston Bruins' special eventsAssist at team signings, events, and appearances, and serve as a liaison by responding to fan requests promptlyManage team-related database,s including those related to donations, charities, programs, and eventsKeep inventory of all signed and premium items, and ensure storage units are organized

More about youCurrent undergraduate student or pursuing a graduate degreeMust have a flexible schedule to work events and additional community activities when needed, and availability to come into the corporate office at least twice a weekExcellent copywriting skills and knowledge of the Boston Bruins, the National Hockey League, hockey culture, and hockey fansExperience working with schools and children preferredPrevious experience playing hockey is preferred

Physical requirementsAble to lift up to 25 pounds and perform occasional manual labor
