We have an exciting opportunity for an Community Programme Facilitator to join the Sefton service. Your focus will be on delivering and developing group/pod work programmes, such as Foundations of Recovery, you will be required to deliver group work and working on a one to one basis in the community so a valid full uk driving license and access to a vehice is necessary for this role.

 

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key. 

 

Where: Sefton, various locations from Bootle to Southport

Hours: full time, 37.5 per week

Full time Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience

 

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journeyResearch, design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/podsEngage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken placeLead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programmeReview service user feedback and make adjustments as necessaryTailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etcResearch and confirm community venues as needed.

About you: 

Driving license and access to own transport for work purposes.Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviourExperience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social InterventionsAbility to understand the specific needs of groupsUnderstanding of evidence based interventions in a group work setting including around substance misuse and offending behaviour (desirable but not essential)
