Community Liaison
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose** Join our mission-driven team at St. Joseph of the Pines, where we provide free dental care to underserved adults in Moore County. As a Dental Assistant/Community Liaison, you’ll ensure smooth operations of our Mobile Dental Unit (MDU), coordinate outreach efforts, and support clinical services that make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable populations. **What You Will Do** + Coordinate and schedule mobile dental clinics and staff, including volunteer dentists and assistants + Serve as the primary outreach contact for hospitals, clinics, churches, and community organizations + Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, and records with confidentiality and care + Maintain dental equipment, supplies, and safety protocols + Assist with patient care and x-rays in emergency situations + Support logistics for MDU travel and setup at various locations + Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain historical documentation **Minimum Qualifications** + 5+ years of experience in dental program coordination or as a dental assistant + Certificate in Dental Radiology preferred + CPR certification and knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures + Strong organizational and communication skills + Ability to work independently and collaboratively **What Perks and Benefits Can You Look Forward to?** + Day-1 Benefits + Opportunity to get paid daily – through DailyPay + Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + **Up to $4,000 in tuition reimbursement annually** + Discounts with major vendors; AT&T, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Quicken Loans, AND MORE! + Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
