You’ll work with local organizations, partners, and residents to identify health priorities, support collective impact initiatives, and promote systems-level solutions. Your work will help shape healthier communities through strategy, facilitation, and evidence-based action.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with community stakeholders
Facilitate collaborative processes to address complex public health challenges
Support the development and evaluation of community improvement plans
Provide technical assistance and guidance on systems thinking and collective impact frameworks
Align initiatives with department goals and community health data
Contribute to grant writing, reporting, and resource development
Coordinate and track progress toward initiative milestones, timelines, and outcomes
Ensure cultural relevance in outreach, messaging, and community engagement
Support communication efforts and contribute to public-facing reports and materials
Collaborate across divisions and support strategic planning and accreditation efforts
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in public health, health promotion/education, or related field
1–2 years of experience leading or facilitating community collaborations
Strong understanding of public health theory, community mobilization, and health equity
Skilled in group facilitation, systems thinking, and collaborative planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities
Must meet fleet safety requirements if driving is part of job duties
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in public health or related field
3–4 years of experience in public health community collaboration
Experience with adaptive facilitation or human-centered design
