The incumbent is responsible for securing all information required to accurately complete the patient pre-registration and/or registration. This includes converting the correct visit within the billing system, verifying insurance and benefit verification, and reviewing regulatory requirements for admissions, observations, surgical day care visits, ED visits and outpatient services performed in a hospital setting. Patient Access serves as the initial stage in the healthcare journey, marking the outset for enhancing the health and wellness of our patients.
