Requisition ID: req59332 Job Title: Community Health Worker (Wadi Al-Shati) Sector: Environmental Health Employment Category: Fixed Term Employment Type: Full-Time Open to Expatriates: No Location: Libya Work Arrangement:In-person Job Description Major Responsibilities : The service provider will be responsible for the following tasks in coordination and collaboration with the program team,  Conduct community needs and baseline assessment in the targeted locations in collaboration with the program team  Maintain and establish relationships with community leaders and stakeholders to support health activities.  Provide support to both the protection and health team during the program activities.  Deliver health education sessions using culturally appropriate language and materials and distribute health promotion materials, and facilitate community understanding of key health messages.  Facilities referrals and link individuals to appropriate health and social services by providing accurate information and documentation.  Collaborate with medical and protection teams during outreach activities, providing logistical and translation support as needed.  Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.  Support data collection and accurately tracking health activities  Support the development and implementation of surveys (e.g., KAP, satisfaction) in collaboration with the health team.  Participate in planning meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery.  Contribute to the identification of gaps in community health services and propose actionable solutions.  Provide a weekly report and submit the data on a weekly bases to the system. #li-dni Qualifications Job Requirements: University Degree and preferbale a degree in Medicine Relevant experience on health like nurse or paramedics, or proven knowledge on basic public health topics. Experience in Mental Health activities is an advantage. Able to read and write, Computer literate with experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point) is an advantage. Reside/From the local community H/she will be serving. Acceptance by the community, Existing active CHW, Volunteer or community leaders Has previous volunteering experience. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with daily travel to different field sites Alkufra as required). Effective team player with public interest driven orientation. Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation. Has a good network targeting the communities.
