Description We are looking for a passionate and community-driven individual. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in fostering meaningful connections within the local community to promote and support financial wellness initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are motivated to empower individuals to develop better money habits and achieve financial independence. Responsibilities: • Build strong relationships with local leaders and organizations to promote the program and its mission. • Create awareness about the initiative by explaining its benefits and encouraging individuals to participate in personalized sessions. • Maintain detailed records of outreach activities, community engagement efforts, and customer interactions. • Conduct one-on-one financial conversations using empathetic listening and ethnographic interviewing techniques to identify individual needs. • Develop tailored action plans and connect individuals with resources to help them improve their financial habits. • Provide follow-up support and serve as an accountability partner to ensure participants stay on track with their goals. • Collaborate with the team to share insights from the community and contribute to the continuous improvement of the program. • Embrace a startup mindset by participating in experimental approaches to refine services and processes. • Stay curious and committed to learning from the community to drive innovation and enhance program offerings. Requirements • Strong connections within the local community and a deep understanding of its culture and needs. • Proven ability to build trust and establish credibility quickly with diverse groups. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus). • Experience with scheduling, planning, and maintaining organized records of interactions. • Familiarity with tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Word, and other digital communication platforms. • Ability to think critically, ask probing questions, and guide conversations without offering direct advice. • Willingness to travel locally and engage with community members in various settings. • A collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
