Our client, a leader in community engagement, is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to join their team. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will be part of the Community Affairs and Engagement department supporting various initiatives.
**Job Title:** Community Engagement Specialist | 30 hours work week
**Location:** Evanston, Illinois | Required to be onsite 1 or 2 days in a week
**Pay Range: $35-$40/HR**
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in managing enterprise-wide community engagement initiatives, including signature campaigns and volunteer programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
+ Provide project management support to maximize nonprofit sponsorship opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and community impact goals while enhancing organizational visibility and reputation.
+ Support the strategic execution of philanthropy initiatives, including the administration of charitable contributions, coordination of grant programs, and facilitation of employee giving campaigns.
+ Drive employee engagement by coordinating organization-wide volunteer initiatives, managing logistics, tracking and reporting Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and supporting recognition efforts.
+ Contribute to the activation and coordination of the Community Engagement Champion Network to amplify local impact and foster peer leadership.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proven experience in project management or community engagement.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments.
+ Experience in managing volunteer programs or sponsorship initiatives.
+ Passion for community service and engagement.
