Location: Sparks, NevadaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $28 - 33 per hourWe're seeking a Communications Specialist to support and enhance internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, inspired, and aligned with company goals and cultural initiatives.Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging internal communications that drive employee connection and understanding of business priorities. Act as the go-to contact for communication requests, managing timelines, channels, and editorial calendars. Partner with creative and IT teams to maintain and optimize our internal hub, ensuring all content remains relevant and updated. Support planning and execution of internal events like town halls and team-wide meetings. Craft messaging that supports key business and cultural initiatives, as well as amplify external news internally. Track and analyze the effectiveness of internal communications efforts and recommend enhancements based on key metrics. Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, marketing, and leadership teams to drive consistency and alignment in messaging. Maintain compliance with company-wide information security protocols, ensuring proper handling of all internal content. Assist with collecting and presenting data in visually compelling formats such as charts, graphs, and reports. Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in communications or marketing, ideally in a corporate or manufacturing setting. Proven success in developing and executing internal communication strategies. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent writing and editing abilities with a sharp eye for tone and clarity. A proactive, collaborative problem-solver with experience in fast-paced environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
