Data Services are seeking a reliable, self-starting internal Communications Specialist to support the development of content on our Sharepoint sites and internal newsletters. This successful candidate will be confident in designing, editing and writing internal communication messages. The primary focus of this role will be supporting Data Services communications but will also be asked to support internal communications for Cirium, Brightmine and Nextens if they have capacity.
Accountabilities:
A skilled writer with the ability to write and develop content such as stories, blog posts and infographics for internal use Use best practices/tools/appropriate branding to develop and deploy regular internal employee updates at the direction of Comms Team PowerPoint presentation creation and updating, including some creation and manipulation of graphics Assistance with production of Town Halls and roundtable meetings – gathering input for accomplishments and recognition, creating PPT slides with the content Manage and maintain Data Services SharePoint sites, including content creation, proactively advising best use of pages and information management (this role may also support Cirium, Brightmine and Nextens internal communications leads as they have spare capacity) Support for creative direction when recording and editing videos for internal communications and SharePoint sites, working with multimedia and Comms team Building templates for email and other design projects (email headers, etc.), employing brand guidelinesQualifications:
