Communications Manager
In Work Dynamics, we make the workplace work for today’s workforce through three core services: Workplace Management, Project Management and Portfolio Management.
JLL Work Dynamics has recently been awarded a significant Workplace Management mandate from a Life Science company for their large and complex property portfolio across EMEA and APAC. We are looking for a Communication Manager to support the transition from the incumbent provider to JLL. The transition will take six months.
There is the potential for the role to become permanent
Location – London (preferred) - expectation for this role is to be in the office 3 days a week.
What this job involves
Transition Communications
Work closely with the Accounts Director and the transition teams to support the establishment of the new account team and a smooth transition of workplace management operations to JLL.
Create a compelling change story that will resonate with multiple audiences: the client’s Real Estate team, their employees and stakeholders; the operational teams (many of whom will be transferring to JLL from other organisations) and the supply chain; JLL colleagues; the real estate industry. Develop and manage communications channels to explain the change to operational teams and make them feel positive about the transition to JLL. Channels may include: town halls, newsletters, announcements, Q&A sessions, employee guides. Coordination with the client, their exiting suppliers and transition teams in other JLL Regions will be crucial.Develop and deliver change communication plans for other audiences, working in partnership with the client where appropriate.Develop a communication approach to support the longer-term (post transition) objectives for the account covering communication objectives for each audience, key messages, channels, measurement, and roles & responsibilities.Post transition (permanent role)
Work closely with account leadership and all service lines leads to create communications plans and campaigns that help deliver the account’s goals (including plans for transformation), drive globally consistency and embed the JLL culture and client culture.Advise and support country and service line leads on bringing the best of JLL to the client: JLL research and events, developing stories to demonstrate the value being added, speaking the language of the client, maximising engagement opportunitiesWork in partnership with the client comms lead to create and deliver external comms plans and internal stakeholder management plans to enhance the reputation of the Workplace Experience and Real Estate teams internally and externallyDevelop and share templates to help FMs communicate to the client’s employees professionally and on brand. Develop and deliver comms training for FMs and other account team members to communicate in the language of the client and with a tone consistent with the Human Experience JLL is delivering.Inform the client’s comms team of any workplace incidents that may affect the client’s reputation (e.g. industrial action, accidents, signs falling off buildings) and provide support as required.Every day is different, and in all these activities, we’d encourage you to show your ingenuity.
