As the Communications Manager for Roche Diagnostics in Asia Pacific, you will support the design and execution of integrated communication strategies that support the division’s business priorities, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and enhance the company’s reputation in the region. This is a well-rounded role requiring expertise across internal, external, executive, and digital communications — with a strong grasp of how to use modern channels, including social media, to deliver effective messaging.

Reporting to the Head of Diagnostics Communications & Public Affairs in Asia Pacific, You will work closely with regional leadership, cross-functional teams, and global colleagues to ensure communications are consistent, engaging, and aligned with Roche’s brand and culture. 

Your work will directly support internal communications, employee engagement, and executive communications across Asia Pacific.

The Opportunity

Develop and execute integrated communication strategies and campaigns that engage internal and external stakeholders, aligned with divisional and Group Communications priorities.

Apply a strategic and structured approach to communication planning, execution, and measurement to ensure activities deliver meaningful outcomes.

Partner with regional cross-functional teams, including Marketing, HR and global communications, to deliver consistent messaging across multiple channels and formats, that support business initiatives and strategic goals.

Support executive communications for senior leaders, including speechwriting, message development, leadership visibility, and employee communications.

Plan and implement internal communication strategies that foster clarity, alignment, and employee engagement across a diverse, regional audience.

Support team members with external communications activities, including media relations, corporate reputation building, and thought leadership opportunities.

Support and execute social media activities for the region – driving engagement, reach, and brand alignment across relevant platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, WeChat).

Monitor communications impact using clear metrics, and continuously optimize based on feedback and performance.

Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and internal developments to inform communication strategies and enhance effectiveness.

Who you are

At least 8-10 years of proven experience in corporate communications, with a strong portfolio across internal, external, and executive communications.

Demonstrated expertise in social media and digital content creation, with an understanding of regional platform dynamics and brand management in online environments.

Strong storytelling and content development skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences and formats.

Experience advising and supporting senior leaders on strategic messaging, visibility, and employee engagement. Experience working across Asia Pacific markets, with a deep appreciation of regional diversity, cultural nuances, and communication channel preferences.

Demonstrated enterprise mindset and system thinking, proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix organization across multiple global teams and key leadership areas in a fast paced VUCA environment.

Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable navigating complex business environments.
