Role Purpose:
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, business-savvy Communications Manager to lead content development and campaign delivery across MENAT. This role is central to shaping and executing compelling narratives that support our commercial priorities and strengthen engagement with clients, colleagues, and the market.
The role holder will bring excellent writing, editorial, and research skills, along with a strong grasp of integrated campaigns across internal and external channels. The ideal candidate is both a strategist and a doer—able to partner with leaders in CBAM MENAT and business stakeholders, to develop end-to-end content plans, and execute with impact.
They should anticipate areas of opportunities, growth, and reputational risks for the bank, offering solutions and advisory on communications aspects of these areas. The role also works collaboratively with other key functions such as Marketing, Brand, Human Resources and Control functions in their support of the business.
Duties Responsibilities:
• Write and edit clear, engaging content for a variety of audiences and formats e.g., news releases, op-eds, speeches, leadership messages, video scripts, LI posts, feature stories, talking points, and campaign assets.
• Translate complex commercial and product narratives into accessible, story-driven content.
• Maintain a consistent voice and editorial quality across all MENAT communications in line with global brand and tone-of-voice guidelines.
• Plan and deliver multi-channel communications campaigns for MENAT-wide initiatives, launches, and strategic themes—spanning internal (intranet, email, events) and external (media, social, owned digital) platforms.
• Collaborate closely with business heads, marketing, internal communications and media relations teams to ensure campaigns support commercial priorities and reflect client impact.
• Project manage timelines, content workflows, and campaign assets to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Conduct desk research and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop data-informed, insight-driven content.
• Identify and develop proof points, case studies, and success stories from the region that reinforce campaign messaging.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across business lines, regional leadership, Group Communications, and functional partners.
• Leverage internal and external channels effectively to maximize reach and engagement—tailoring delivery to different platforms and audiences.
• Ensure content and campaigns adhere to all legal, compliance, brand, and editorial standards.
• Track and report on performance metrics and audience engagement and apply insights to continuously improve output.
• Drive a strong focus around team engagement, with the view of building an exemplary culture across the broader regional team.
• Supporting the delivery of the communications strategy for the bank and businesses.
• Have a strong external and internal perspective of the issues facing the business from factors such as market trends, customer insights, new products and innovations, competitor activities and campaigns etc.
• Contribute, challenge and advise effectively in function and business meetings.
• Ensure that senior management are appropriately advised of external market conditions and changing needs of our audiences / customers.
• Embed our ways of working; identify opportunities to streamline and simplify processes using technology.
• Be part of a global team and strengthen collaboration co-creation, sharing best practices and learnings, developing campaigns and content to achieve results.

• Experience of working in a complex, international matrix organization and diverse culture.

• Able to work within a complex environment, prioritize and reconcile competing demands, and swiftly resolve issues.
