Communications Intern Corporate Foundations (all genders)
Bayer’s corporate foundations – the Bayer Foundation and the Finkelstein Foundation – are dedicated to creating sustainable and resilient societies by fostering social innovation, science, and democracy. Our diverse impact programs range from supporting social enterprises to offering scientific fellowships, grants, and engaging in remembrance and historical initiatives.
We are seeking a full-time intern (all genders) (37,5h/week) to assist with our communications efforts for both the Bayer Foundation and the Finkelstein Foundation.
YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Support the communications activities of the Bayer Foundation and the Finkelstein Foundation by preparing and publishing content on social media, our websites, in our monthly newsletter and intranet
Create impact content by using interactive formats and short-form videos
Support the annual impact reporting efforts
Collaborate with program managers to assist in weekly content planning
Analyze quarterly performance results of our communications activities
Contribute to the enhancement and refinement of our communications strategies
Assist in organizing virtual and in-person events, such as the Science Awards and #WeRemember, Finkelstein Lectures
Contribute to programs focused on science, social innovation, and democracy
Work in partnership with foundation collaborators, including start-ups, other foundations, and non-profits
WHO YOU ARE
Enrolled student (all genders) in a communications, marketing, politics or social science degree program or another relevant field
Proficient in MS Office applications
Possess initial experience in content creation and management
Familiar with design and video editing tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or similar programs
Quickly understanding new concepts, open-minded, and eager to tackle cross-functional challenges
Fluent in both written and spoken German and English

We offer an internship ideally starting in September 2025 for a duration of up to 6 months, with the possibility of continuing as a working student.
